As one of seven children, Diane Hakes was born and raised in a small town in Northern New Jersey. She met her husband in college at Lock Haven University. They have been married for 38 years and have two children and two grandchildren.

In 2018, Diane established Clear Calling, a coaching and consulting practice. She equips individuals, churches, and non-profit organizations in understanding and living out their God-given purpose by creating pathways.

She also works part time on staff at Olive Branch Ministries, a local non-profit for women in Hanover, PA, where she serves as the Director of Development and Organizational Strategy. Her volunteer work consists of serving as the Chairperson of Discipleship and on the Executive Administrative Council for the Churches of God General Conference as well as on the Ministry Board in the church where she attends.

Diane's purpose is to unlock and unleash the potential in people for Kingdom impact by stewarding the mission Jesus has placed within them.


Danielle Lew is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who owns a therapy practice, Trinity Wellness Group, LLC, in Adams County, PA and sees clients all over the state of Pennsylvania, virtually. She works with both individuals and couples seeking faith-based therapy. Danielle uses specialized therapy approaches, including EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) for those seeking to process traumatic experiences, maladaptive coping, and attachment wounds, and to heal anxiety, depression, and/or grief.

In 2021 Danielle founded Danielle Nicole Coaching, LLC to utilize her health and life coaching certifications, specializing in working with Christian women in groups and individually throughout the US. Danielle works to empower women to transform their struggles with weight, self-esteem struggles, or betrayal trauma by building an identity firmly rooted in Christ. As a Brainspotting practitioner, she is able to help individuals find areas where the truth is blocked by woundedness, generational patterns, or distorted thoughts. Danielle partners with other ministries to serve Christian women & couples recovering from betrayal trauma through retreats, weekend intensives, workshops, & groups.

In addition to her professional training and experience, Danielle has been in recovery from many things including childhood trauma & abuse and has over 18 years of sobriety from substance abuse. She and her husband of 20 years+ have overcome many obstacles together as they navigated his many addictions, separations, relapses, and an affair. She is passionate in sharing her testimony & expertise to help women and couples find hope in what seems like hopeless places by trusting God’s promises to find beauty for ashes and dry bones to life!

Danielle will be sharing a message to help women identify new areas for growth, renewal, healing, and hope!

Meet the Presenters

Suzie Lawyer is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor in the state of Maryland. She works with teens and adults, with a focus on trauma recovery and healing from grief. She is the owner of Suzie Lawyer Counseling located in Westminster, Maryland.

Suzie is the mom to six adult children, mother-in-law to four, almost mother-in-law to two, and grandmother to one sweet baby boy who has stolen her heart! Life with her peeps is her absolute joy! Suzie became a widow at age 36 in 2008 and has navigated single parenting since. Coping with grief and loss has been the hardest thing she’s ever had to endure, and yet it’s driven her to her knees, clinging to Jesus for hope and healing.

In her “spare” time, Suzie serves in the Student Ministry at her church, is a speaker and teacher on faith & mental health, and enjoys walks, cooking, eating with friends, reading, and being with her kids. She has a passion for all things gluten-free!

Meet Elizabeth McDaniel, a Certified Nurse Practitioner and Certified Functional Medicine Practitioner, dedicated to pioneering a holistic approach to healthcare. With an unquenchable thirst for knowledge, an unwavering commitment to healing, and a transformative vision, Elizabeth is reshaping the healthcare landscape. She embarked on her journey at the prestigious Georgetown University, where she graduated as a Certified Nurse Practitioner with a specialization in Family Medicine. Yet, her quest for understanding knows no bounds. Elizabeth is currently pursuing both a Doctorate and a PhD in Integrative Medicine, with a unique focus on Quantum Physics Medicine, pushing the boundaries of healthcare.

In 2021, she founded Multiply Change, a practice setting itself apart from conventional clinics by diving deep into the physical, mental, and spiritual aspects of health, targeting root causes of concerns. Her specialty lies in women's health and hormones, incorporating cutting-edge methods to offer comprehensive care, empowering women to thrive both internally and externally.

In 2024, Elizabeth, alongside her husband Jeffrey, is set to launch Multiply Warriors, a nonprofit dedicated to preventing PTSD by providing free mental health support to veterans and active-duty military through the groundbreaking GRIT program (Group Resiliency and Identity Transformation). This innovative initiative equips individuals with unique identities, fostering a sense of purpose and mission, ultimately reducing mental fatigue, anxiety, and depression, and promoting thriving in their personal and professional lives. Elizabeth McDaniel is at the forefront of a healthcare revolution, dedicated to rewriting the story of well-being.

Is this a Christian Retreat, and can I still come even if I'm not a Christian?

Yes & Yes! All are welcome. The information presented will be shared from a Christian worldview, but we have no requirements about your belief or unbelief. It is our hope that you leave the day feeling hopeful and encouraged. 

All participation is voluntary. We welcome you to take breaks if you need and you will not be forced to participate in any activity. 

This is NOT a yoga retreat. We will be offering a Christ-Centered yoga retreat later in the year and you can join the mailing list to be the first to know. You do not need to bring a yoga mat. Everything that we will be doing can be done from the comfort of your seat. 

You will be able to shop some amazing vendors before, after and in between sessions.

Be uniquely you! If you want to wear jeans, wear jeans. Have a sundress you love? Wear it! There are no attire expectations. Any experiential activities or movement will be able to be done from the comfort of your chair.

YOURSELF! Everything else will be provided to you unless you have any special accommodations that you would need. Please also plan to bring CASH if you are wanting to shop with the vendors who will be present as some vendors will be cash only. 

Can I bring my baby or child?

We respectfully request that no children (including infants) attend the wellness retreat. Our priority is to nurture whole body restoration in an atmosphere free of distractions. This is an opportunity for you to step outside of your day-to-day life and focus inward. Thank you for understanding.

We have 4 amazing speakers prepared to bring you encouragement, education and tools to help you live a life of hope and faith. There will be time set aside for experiential activities and worship. Snack and lunch will also be provided. 

This retreat is designed for women who are feeling stressed out, overwhelmed, or burned out, and are in need of encouragement in this fast paced world...that's all of us, right!? At this retreat you will hear messages of hope, build community with like minded women, and learn some helpful skills along the way.
