The Bible encourages believers to focus on “whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable” (Philippians 4:8). Positive, faith-based thoughts can reduce anxiety and stress.

3. Physical Wellness

The Bible also highlights the importance of caring for our bodies. This includes proper nutrition, regular exercise, and adequate rest. Treating our bodies with respect and gratitude enhances physical wellness and contributes to an overall sense of well-being.

Mind-Body Connection

Christian wellness recognizes the intricate connection between mind, body, and spirit. Stress and anxiety often manifest physically, and Christian wellness practices aim to address this mind-body connection. Activities like movement, deep breathing exercises, or mindful prayer can reduce stress and anxiety by calming the mind and relaxing the body.
