At Graceful Balance Wellness, we believe healing happens best when care is intentional, integrated, and supportive. That’s why we’ve created a Foundation Model — a thoughtful way for new clients to begin care without overwhelm or pressure.
Rather than trying to guess which service you need, our approach allows you to explore multiple forms of support, build trust with providers, and make informed decisions about next steps.
Our integrative model supports mental, emotional, physical, and nervous-system health — all working together.
All new clients start with our Foundation Model, a short series of introductory sessions designed to help you:
These sessions are introductory, not full evaluations. Think of them as extended consultations — relational, exploratory, and focused on understanding your needs.
Session 1: Therapy Introduction
Your first session focuses on building rapport with a licensed therapist, understanding your goals, and exploring emotional or mental health concerns. This session helps determine whether ongoing therapy — and what type — may be supportive.
Session 2: Nutrition Introduction
This session explores how nutrition may impact emotional well-being, stress, energy, and overall health. It is educational and exploratory, not a full nutrition evaluation.
Session 3: Coaching / Wellness / Spiritual Care Introduction
This session introduces supportive tools that may complement therapy, including life coaching, wellness practices, or spiritual care (when desired). The focus is practical support and strengths-based exploration.
Session 4: Somatic Regulation Session
This session focuses on nervous system regulation and mind-body awareness. Through gentle, accessible practices, clients learn tools to support grounding, regulation, and embodiment — without needing prior experience or flexibility.
The foundation model is our standard starting point, but we honor clinical judgment and client needs. If the full model doesn’t feel like the right fit, we’ll work with you to determine an appropriate alternative.
That’s okay. The foundation model exists to give you clarity and choice. After your foundation sessions, you can continue with therapy alone if that’s what feels most supportive.
We move at your pace. Providers will help guide you through the process and adjust as needed.
